Since the 1980s, AOES has been a major service provider to the space industry in general and to the European Space Agency in particular. The specialists service provided by AOES consultant engineers and designers ranges from the feasibility study phase through to (detailed) design phase up to the full-scale development and verification of spacecraft structures.

AOES expertise has been applied to most European space projects concerning launchers (Ariane 5, Vega), numerous satellite missions, the International Space Station, space exploration missions etc.

Additionally AOES is involved in several European Research FP7 projects.
